Grußwort der BG Zehlendorf
Liebe Basketballfreund*innen,
nach zwei Jahren „Zwangspause“ begrüße euch ganz herzlich zur 36. Ausgabe unseres Pfingstturniers in Zehlendorf. Unsere Erwartungen nach diesen zwei Jahren Pause in Bezug auf die Anzahl der gemeldeten Teams war zu Beginn unserer Planung verhalten. Dies änderte sich schnell und wir mussten feststellen, dass wir mit knapp 190 gemeldeten Teams für dieses Jahr genau da anknüpfen, wo wir 2019 aufgehört haben! Das ist fantastisch!
Erstmals veranstalten wir eine U10-Spielklasse und freuen uns besonders über die stattfindende Qualifikation für die Deutsche Meisterschaft im 3x3, die wir zusammen mit dem Berliner Basketball Verband ausrichten.
Aber auch organisatorisch ergeben sich viele Neuerungen in diesem Jahr, weil wir sowohl für die Turnierleitung, den Coaches Pub aber auch die Mensa neue Standorte haben. Beachtet also bitte die entsprechenden Ankündigungen auf unsere Homepage und/oder in unserer Broschüre.
Ansonsten bitte ich alle Teilnehmenden wie jedes Jahr um ein angemessenes Benehmen auf dem Turniergelände (insbesondere in allen Unterkünften & Spielhallen bzw. sämtlichen Schulgeländen). Hierzu verweise ich gerne nochmal auf die betreffenden Passagen in unserer Broschüre, sowie auf unserer Turnierhomepage.
Mit Blick auf die Umwelt verzichten wir in diesem Jahr auf den Ausdruck der Broschüre und es wird diese nur digital geben. Diese findet ihr hier.

Liebe Basketballer*innen,
ich freue mich Euch bei der 36. Ausgabe des Zehlendorfer Pfingstturniers begrüßen zu dürfen!
Mädchen, Jungen, Herren, Damen und Mixed Teams: bunter und vielfältiger geht es kaum! Und international ist es auch! Das alles verbinde ich persönlich ebenfalls mit Basketball & dem Pfingstturnier.
Und natürlich noch gute Laune und schönes Wetter im Süden Berlins!
Hier gibt es auch viele Parallelen zu meiner Band und der Musik, die wir machen. Denn so wie wir es mit unseren Songs und Konzerten tun, macht es Basketball und hier im speziellen die BG Zehlendorf auch. Daher bin ich "Baller 4 life“ und werde den schönsten Sport der Welt immer supporten, wo ich nur kann!
Als immer noch aktives Mitglied von BGZ wünsche ich Euch viel Spaß und Erfolg beim Turnier.

Greetings from BG Zehlendorf
Dear basketball friends,
after two years of a "forced break", we welcome you to the 36th edition of our Pentecost Tournament in Zehlendorf. Our expectations after these two years in terms of the number of registered teams were restrained at the beginning of our planning. This quickly changed and we found that with almost 190 registered teams for this year, we are picking up exactly where we left off in 2019! That's fantastic!
For the first time, we are organizing a U10 division and are especially excited about the qualification for the 3x3 German Championships taking place, which we are hosting together with the Berlin Basketball Association.
But also logistically, there are many changes this year, because we have new locations for the tournament office, the coaches pub, and the mensa. So please pay attention to the corresponding announcements on our homepage and/or in our booklet.
Otherwise, I ask all participants as every year to behave appropriately on the tournament grounds (especially in all accommodations & gyms or all school grounds). I would like to refer you to the relevant passages in our booklet and to our tournament homepage.
With regard to the environment, the booklet will not be printed this year and will only be available digital. You can find the broshure here.

Dear basketball players,
I am happy to welcome you to the 36th edition of the Pentecost Tournament in Zehlendorf!
Girls, boys, men, women, and mixed teams: it could hardly be more colorful and diverse! And also, it is international! All of this, I personally associate with basketball & the Pentecost Tournament.
And of course, good mood and nice weather in the south of Berlin!
There are also many parallels to my band and the music we make. Because as we do it with our songs and concerts, so does basketball and here in particular the BG Zehlendorf. That’s why I am "Baller 4 life" and will always support the most beautiful sport in the world wherever I can!
As a still active member of BGZ I wish you a lot of fun and success at the tournament.
