Conditions of Participation

Participation of Zehlendorf Pentecost Tournament is generally on own risk.
Should the event be canceled due to force majeure, the organizer is not obliged to reimburse the fees.
Each participant accepts the conditions of participation and general rules.

Common Rules

Youth teams (u18 and younger)

Youth teams (u18 and younger) are only permitted to participate if they are supervised by a person of legal age during the entire tournament.

Insurance

Insurance for personal injury and property damage to the tournament participants are not completed by the organizer. The organizer assumes no liability for lost valuables, injuries or accidents.
Each team leader must ensure that his players are adequately insured. We advise our participants and those responsible to leave no valuables or money unattended!

Smoking, alcohol and grilling

Smoking, alcohol and barbecues are absolutely forbidden in the halls and the accommodations, as the next tournament will not be endangered. Violations may result in an exclusion of the tournament and / or the retention of the deposit (accommodation).

Noise and disturbances

Noise and nocturnal disturbances are to be avoided. Residents have well-deserved days off at Whitsun. They should not be disturbed by avoidable noise.
Dribbling with balls or throwing basketball baskets after 22:00 is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in the temporary use of the basketballs, a tournament exclusion and / or the retention of the deposit (accommodation).

Photo- & Video-Takes

BG Zehlendorf is intending to record Photo- and Video-Takes during the tournament due to justified interests. These records are going to be published on BG Zehlendorf homepage, on Facebook, and for marketing purposes for follow-up events on selected media e. g. basketball magazines and in social media as Facebook etc. .

Lost properties

Lost properties can be handed over to gym supervisors or the tournament office, which can be contacted in case.

Medical Care

The organizer assumes no liability for any injuries! For a medical treatment, each participant is responsible. In the arcades there is a small first aid kit at the hall supervisor. Contact details of the fire department, as well as the surrounding hospitals and emergency pharmacies are listed under contacts in case of emergency.
