Questions about online registration

#1 – I have forgotten my password – what can I do?

We have implemented the program for online registration in 2019. You have to register the first time.
If you forget your password, you can reset it with your email address.

#2 – Until when must team fees (& game operation deposit) have been paid?

Team fees (& game operation deposit) must be paid immediately upon registration.
The later you pay, the more likely your registration will be put on the waiting list.
Please bear in mind that payment will be done in two blocks. You do not have to pay the entire fees at once, but only the team fees.

#3 – What happens if I do not pay the team fees?

To put it short: Nothing.
As long as we have not received any payment for team fees (& game operation deposit) your registration will not be processed by us.
It is possible, that we contact you when there are still places available in your desired age group in the end. However, in principle we cannot accept registrations without fees being paid.

#4 – I saw that my desired age group is already full or that guest cards can no longer be booked. If I register now, do I still have to pay team fees?

In principle, yes: A registration without team fees (& game operation deposit) being paid will not be considered – even if places should become vacant.
However, in this particular case, we would ask you to contact us directly. We can tell you how long the waiting list is and whether we expect places to become vacant. On this occasion we will decide whether you are to pay team fees or not.

#5 – Can I participate legally if I have paid the team fees (& game operation deposit) and received your advance confirmation?

In principle, yes! Our final confirmation depends on your payment of the remaining fees (if there are still fees outstanding).
However, you can be sure that this confirmation will be issued if you pay the rest.
So it is entirely up to you: If you pay the rest, you will automatically receive our final confirmation.
However, you will loose your place if you do not pay the remaining fees.

#6 – Can I also pay the entire amount at once?

Yes, you can.
However, please note that complete payment does not directly increase your chances for participation, because there are also other factors involved.

#7 – Until when must the remaining fees have been paid?

The remaining fees must have been received on our account at the deadline mentioned in our invitation.
Please note that you will be automatically put on the waiting list if your payment is received later than that.

#8 – What happens if I do not pay the remaining fees?

When the deadline has expired we will automatically put your registration on the waiting list, as long as you have not made other arrangement concerning payment with us.

#9 – Can I make my travel arrangements already after having paid my team fees (& game operation deposit) and having received the preliminary confirmation?

Yes, definitely. This is the main advantage of the new system: After the preliminary confirmation you can be sure that you will participate if you have paid the remaining fees.

Therefore, as already mentioned, it is entirely up to you at which point in time you receive a final confirmation. The only condition is that you have to transfer it before the deadline expires.

#10 – Why am I put on the waiting list after having paid my team fees (& game operation deposit) although there is a sufficient number of places available?

Since our capacities are limited, we, unfortunately, sometimes have to put teams on the waiting list that have already paid their team fees.
As a rule, teams without guest cards are more likely to be put on the waiting list, because we first fill our age groups with teams with guest cards.

However, we will try keep the waiting lists as short as possible.

#11 – Why do I lose a preliminarily confirmed place if I do not pay the remaining fees?

A registration is only complete when all fees have been paid. For the preliminary confirmation it is sufficient to pay the team fees.
After this you have time to pay the remaining fees until the deadline mentioned in the invitation. However, at that point in time your registration has not yet been confirmed finally, i.e. if you miss the deadline we will put you automatically on the waiting list.

Thus, it is entirely up to you, everything will be OK if the second payment arrives in time.

#12 – How do you choose teams from the waiting list?

There is no standard procedure.  However, in principle it can be said that there are factors increasing your chances of being put high on the waiting list (their sequence is randomly chosen;)):

  • Teams with guest cards
  • Registrations with many teams and many guest cards
  • Youth teams
  • Registrations that have been paid within the deadline

Aspects contrasting with the above mentioned factors increase the risk of going down in the list.

#13 – Will you pay back the fees if you reject my registration?

Yes. As soon as we have to reject a registration, we will refund all payments made to us.

#14 – Will you pay back the fees if I have to cancel my registration?

In principle, we refund all payments for guest cards if you cancel your registration.

Whether we also refund team fees depends on whether your cancellation is made in time. In the invitation you will find a deadline until which you have to deregister your teams at the latest. In the event of a cancellation after this deadline, the team fees become void without substitution.

#15 – Do I really have to transfer the fees or can I also use a different method of payment?

In principle, we would ask you to transfer all fees.

If agreed with us, in individual cases another method of payment may be used.
Please note that minor changes arising in the last two weeks before the tournament will not be dealt with by means of money transfer, but by cash payment during check-in for the tournament.

#16 – Age group booked out, what does that mean?

If you see the message in the registration form that a requested age group is booked out, this means that for this age group we have received more registrations than currently planned.

We will check our planning by the registration deadline and maybe carry out some changes to the individual leagues: If one league does not achieve the planned number of teams, there might become further places available in another league.

Therefore, you can register anyway, and we will put your registration on the waiting list for the time being. If you are not sure, please contact us before registration!

IMPORTANT:  For the registration to be completed you have to transfer the team fees (& game operation deposit) immediately! Registrations without payment of team fees will not be processed by us. We will, of course reimburse the team fees in the event that we cannot accept a registration. However, please do not transfer any money for guest cards at this point in time.
We will always put an entire registration on the waiting list, even if there are places available for other teams. Therefore, if you can split your teams (waiting list and normal registration), we would ask you to enter two registrations.

#17 – Guest cards booked out, what does that mean?

If you see the message in the registration form that guest cards are booked out, this means that we have received the maximum number of registrations that we can place in our accommodations.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do in this case, since the number of accommodations is limited and we do not have any spare capacities.

However, you may register anyway but will be put on the waiting list with your entire registration, even if there are places available in the relevant age groups. We will contact you at once if other teams cancel their booked accommodations. If you are unsure, please contact us before registration!

IMPORTANT: For the registration to be completed you have to transfer the team fees immediately! Registrations without payment of team fees will not be processed by us. We will, of course reimburse the team fees in the event that we cannot accept a registration. Please do not transfer any money for guest cards at this point in time.
Alternatively, you may, of course, register without accommodation and find one for yourself.
